Okay, well they're not ALL babies anymore ;) but they're MY babies. Just posting for some cuteness factor. Hope ya'll enjoy. These are kits born this year, will start with the youngest:

Beige females- based on phenotype alone what do ya'll think? They're aweful light huh? These gals are about 5weeks old and still on mom.

This guy is just weaned, about 8weeks old and was born solid black with a white tipped tail. He's probably THE most unique kit I had born ever. Born in one of my many litters of triplets this season, two dark ebonies and him, an ebony white.

Finally, my 5month old BV female. She's a bit bigger than the mosaic. We shall see.

Not a complete list, but some of my prettier/more unique ones ;)

I love any color chinchilla (i'm just obsessed in general) but I really like the color of the first set of light beiges.... so cute

Thanks Jess & Dawn ;) I'm holdin' all of the ones pictured till show, after show...just not sure. The two males I really don't have a use for, have tons of females that I held as replacement animals. The black, her mom is V25 a res. sec. champ bv who is currently pregnant to my Hykes GSC. We shall see :) Not quite sure if I'll replace her yet or not!

Finally, this girl was born in July I think. She'll be replacing her mother this year (one of my first whites purchased)

All of these guys are, at this point, show prospects for the Atlantic Chapter Show. We shall see! Gotta start show dusting not too long...and some of them are quite young and will be at show. Not that I haven't shown them young, but they do tend to show better at a bit older of an age. Anywho, enjoy!

Oh, and on a side note...this last girl has horrendous tail stain. I've tried to clean it, baby wipes...baking powder...nothing seems to be helping :( I DO plan on tail trimming for show but aside from that, suggestions? I just don't know how she does it. It's not like she sets in pee or anything and NONE of my others are stained like this...puzzling and a pain in the butt to deal with. I KNOW it's going to cast yellow on her too, which is what I'm really worried about :(

Zoaea- they don't JUDGE the tail BUT if the tail is stained it can cast yellow onto the rest of the fur causing a yellow overall appearance. Likewise, a curly tail can push the back fur down causing a dent in the fur.

Brenda- I like the lighter beiges too, I showed my first beige last year and he took a Reserve Phase Champ I think. Not too shabby.

I have a question, the one female looks really light though they're hetero beiges, maybe she doesn't have enough veiling and if that is the case will that be a fault like it would be in extra light standards?

Finally, thanks for all the compliments. I will decide much closer to show (probably the night before) who's actually going but will keep this thread updated most likely ;)
