behavior change

So today I took my 2 chinchilla out but 1 of my chinchilla stopped running around finding ways to escape like usual. He was just sitting around dark places and not moving. He is eating, drinking, acting fine in the cage but out of the change he is just sitting there. What is wrong?

So this has only happened once? Maybe something just spooked him.

I wouldn't worry unless this behaviour persists, or if his eating/drinking/pooping changes as well. Just keep an eye on him for the next couple of days.

Yeah, sounds like something scared him. I agree with Newt, just watch and make sure he's acting normal otherwise.
