are bark chew sticks by natural element safe?

I found these at petsmart today and didn't know if these were chin safe. The package does not say what type of wood or woods were used to make the product and was wondering if anyone here has used this product before.

If it doesn't state what the wood is, and especially in prepacked stuff you also don't know if it's exposed to pesticides so for me I'd pass.
