Apple wood.

Is apple wood safe for chins? They have sticks of it at Petsmart, but I didn't know if it was safe. And it's only until I get to order her some sticks from a vendor. Any opinions?

You'll find a list of safe woods in the FAQ's on this forum. Lots of great info in the FAQ's And yes, apple wood is safe for chins as long as the trees have never been sprayed/treated.

Much cheaper to order from some of the vendors here and you can get your baby a great variety. Not just apple. My girls love apple, crabapple, kiwi, blackberry, pear, magnolia, mulberry and grape. Yes they prefer the fruit wood.

It says made in China, I would not buy it as you do not know if it is organic or free of chemicals.

Well, I need something until the sticks I order come in. So I was wondering if those would be okay because she currently has a large piece of unknown wood in her cage from the person I got it from. So which is better for her? Pet store apple wood or unknown wood?
