American Pet Diner Smaks Treats

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone gives these to their chins? I ordered hay from APD and they sent along a sample of their Tropical Fruit Salad Smaks treats.
This is the ingredients list:
Rye Flour, Oat Bran, Papaya Dices, Pineapple Puree, Canola Oil, Baking powder

I think its best to stay away from "treats" Its not really in a natural diet for the chinchilla. Try buying an assortment of appropriate hays and serve those as a treat. The animals will love it.

I give their Apple Smaks and Mountain Grass Smaks. The Mountain Grass ones are a big hit here!

Currently I give them the supplements from Fuzzies Kingdom and they are super happy with those. I will continue with those as "treats".

I tried those mountain grass snacks for my chins a couple years ago and they didn't touch them. It's so funny how each chin is so different.

ChinchieRoo, I believe I tried the broad spectrum supplement from Fuzzies' Kingdom with my chin before and it went over quite well. It had rose hips in it, that's how I learned they were his favorite. Now I buy him crushed rosehips for the occasional treat.
