Okay, so someone local has had kits and they are REALLLLYYY cute. I'm quite tempted to get one.

I already have a chin (Jack) who is 1 1/2 years... I got him as "Cole" from Smiley1 last April because he was attacking his cage mates.

So obviously, I'm torn because of course I'd keep the young chin separate from Jack until he's big enough but it would suck if I couldn't let them live together since Jack currently resides in a ramp-less martin cage (looks like this:http://martinscages.com/images/full/fc-430hr.jpg) and I would save major $$ in doing so....

But then again, Jack has a history... so boo.

Thoughts?

If Jack has a history of attacking his cage mates there is a good chance he will attck a new one, Some chinchillas just do best on their own. So If you try this be prepared you may have to just keep them seperate
