A chins diet should consist of...?

Should the food be all pellets? (compressed ones)
Or have a variety mix (ex. mixed w/ raisins, other dried fruit, seeds, those colored cereal looking things, etc.)

Never, ever put fruit or other additives into pellets for a chin. They will pick out the junk and leave the things they need. Chins should not have fruits, vegetables, and definitely not seeds.

Straight pellets, good quality hay, reverse osmosis or filtered water, and some people offer a supplement. Other than that, the very occasional treat such as a rosehip, some old fashioned oats (a pinch), a half of a bite sized, nonsugared shredded wheat, and plenty of wood chews.
