I did some research and that is what conclusion I have came to also. Though her cage is within sight of my bed, I have never really seen her chew on herself. If so, what are some solutions to this?

Lately I have seen Sammys back leg have a 1"X1" roughly patch of the underlying fur. I have watched her and didnt see her chewin the fur but i checked and her skin isn't dry. I only bathe 2-3 times a week. Any suggestions? I can upload photos later if needed.

I use cardboard. I get them free from my work, as they are the innards of carpet rolls. They are usually 5-6" and work great, not to mention they are free ^_^ you may try your local Lowes, or Menards if your in the midwest (thats were I work) :) Usually they just recycle it so you could get it...

I actually bought her from a lady in Evansville, who claimed to be a breeder. She had two very loud kids, but she wasn't a very good chin mom. She said she may be prego she doesn't know, though she is kinda thick around the middle. That is another reason that made me think she could be.
