My grandma has 2 of my chinchillas and she sent someone to get bedding for her and they came back with "soft wood, fine shredded, kiln dried wood." Is that safe?? It doesn't say what exactly the wood is. :)

I do feed the roaches when they are small, to my beardie too so they'd be small if she did eat them. I have tried hornworms and she loved them, again fed them to her before they got too big.

I had been feeding her mealies as a treat, but now I own a beardie too, so have insects more readily available and wondering which ones are okay for her to eat and how much is okay for her. I often have hornworms, silkworms, roaches, (dubia) butterworms, and mealies.

I think for "regular" healthy kids its not such a huge deal, although I did hear at one point that 30% of the kids who have died from it, were "healthy" before getting it. So that worries me. I would also be really nervous if I had a child w/ other respiratory issues than I'd worry even more...

I haven't made it in a yr or so, but I remember a wonderful recipe w/ chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and either ranch or italian dressing mix. I think you added potatoes and carrots too and then cooked it in the crock pot, I think. Does this ring a bell to anyone?? I really want...

Sounds like a great show once again. My son (only 4 1/2 yrs old) ended up having hernia surgery on Thursday and w/ that and his recovery and everything just being so crazy around here, I wasn't able to make it. :( I had really wanted to.

Looks like it'll be a great show!!! Can't wait!! If there is anything you'd like me to bring, just let me know. I'm not the greatest cook, but can make up a salad or something w/o messing it up too much. ;)

My mom has rose bushes, I'm going try this. She had actually cut some off already, because she wanted them off so new flowers could grow, but I'll have to check the color and make sure they were ripe.

I have had quite a few good intros and only a few "bad" ones. I just had to do 2 more intros a few wks ago because I was switching a few around after selling cagemates. I put in my BV female (about 8 mos old) w/ my son's mosiac TOV-Pikachu (female-4 mos) and they took to each other no problem...

If you have seen him go to it, I think I'd try the raisin trick and hopefully he'll get it working and realize, awe that is where the water is.

Its a nice show. You should come. Everyone is very nice and helpful, as they are at most shows, I've been to.
