My drakenstein will actually clutch my finger then lick it kind of like a lollipop. It's weird because he's not early a affectionate chin.

i just took the cage divider out of my fn 142 and set up drakensteins cage please dont mind the bites on the pan those were from another chinchilla. he has a fleece liner but it was in the washer at the time i took the picture. everything in my cage is made by christine well except the wheel...

I give mostly the timothy occasionally ill put them all in so he can choose what he wants. I think of it as you wouldn't want to eat the same thing every day I don't they want to either. I put the grass and oat hay in less then the timothy tho

I use the timothy hay and then as a treat/mix it up the orchard grass and the oat hay

She might be going through chinny puberty. My drakenstein has never been overly lovey he actually is kind of a jerk. But i find it part of his charm. I would just try to take things slow with her. Maybe start over with bonding with her?
