Hi! I am in Niagara Falls, welcome to the forum! I have 2 female chinnies and one of my girls is named Luna too!

I just found out that my nephew's first communion is the day of this show. Sadly I won't be able to come down for the day. I'm bummed because I had so much fun last year, but family comes first!

When I got home from the store with the gas drops last night, I went right in to give them to Chinchi. When she hopped off her ledge to come see me, there was a pile of poops left behind. All normal in size and consistency. I think the little stinker just wanted to make me worry enough to go out...

I noticed today that my new girl Chinchi has not pooped all day. She has been eating and drinking as far as I can tell. She is active and alert and seems to have no other symptoms. I read though a bunch of old posts here and I am guessing that the stress from moving to our home has caused some...

Excellent point! I recently upgraded my new rescue chin from the cage she came with because I felt it wasn't sturdy enough for a chin even though the size was fine. I got her this cage in excellent condition for $70 on craigslist...

We picked up Chinchi's new cage on Friday and got her all moved in. She has the same amount of space, but the new cage is much more sturdy and will allow me to add more wooden shelves to replace the metal ones. She is starting to come out of her shell a bit, she was doing a lot of exploring...

Luna is also a stink eye pro. She wasn't thrilled with me taking a pic of her during bath time yesterday!

Well, I've officially had Chinchi for 24 hours now and I am already spoiling her! I was given her cage and all of her supplies when I adopted her. While her cage is big enough, it is very flimsy. It is this cage...

Luna can destroy one of those lava triangles in a matter of a couple of hours! I wish I could find a place to buy them in bulk instead of the 3 pack they come in. She love her lava ledges too, but the triangles seem to be her all-time favorite!

Chinchi had a great first night at home. She settled in right away! She explored the new things in her cage, chewed a stick, ate some hay, napped...all the stuff that chinnies love to do. She doesn't seem to be stressed out very much at all. She is definitely curious when we come into the room...

Ahhhhhhh. It feels great to finally have Chinchi home! I got her cage all set up and lined with cozy fleece. Gave her a new ledge and some new chew toys to add to the ones she already had. I went through all of her supplies that came with her and put the non-chinnie friendly treats into a bag...

I have 3 tattoos myself and would NEVER even remotely consider inflicting one on a pet for cosmetic purposes!
