Hey everyone,
Quarantine is FINALLY OVER for my littlest, and I put him in the upstairs of my CN162 about a week ago. My other chin was not happy for a couple hours (he lives in the bottom) but soon adjusted fine, and now they chirp at each other a lot :))
So what should I do now? I don't want...
Hey everyone!
Marley had his first playtime last night... he was a VERY happy boy :))

Here's a video I made.
Enjoy!
Dawn: His water bottle is fine, and no he isn't yet, but he is very anxious to get out :))
Leah: They are rounded, so maybe he isn't constipated?
Thanks guys!
Oh ok thanks. The person that I bought my chinchilla from claimed that he was a charcoal, and that seems highly unlikely now because he was a rescue and we're in California...
I was just reading up on different chin health hazards, and saw that the symptoms of constipation is hard and thin droppings. My youngest, Marley has been having hard and thin droppings for a couple of days now, but before I hadn't been thinking much of it.
I read that to clear this up you...
Hi,
When changing from one brand of hay to another do you have to do it gradually like you do with pellets?
And would anyone recommend a high quality hay?
Thanks!
I use big ceramic dog bowls, and they work great because they are heavy and won't tip, and your chin can sit on the edge. They also hold a lot of hay. The only downside is that they take up a lot of room.
