Dr Natalie Antinoff is by far the BEST vet in the Houston area. We drive all the way from Seabrook to see her.
713 693 1133. Tell her Chloe, Lexi and Snowy's mom says Hi!
You will love her and her vet techs are fabulous too. Other vets training to be exotics specialists are always there as well. We prefer Dr Culpepper if Dr Antinoff is not there.

Thank you. I did that. The problem is people will accept your money whether or not they have any real experience with chinchillas.

Just to follow up, if anyone is looking for a chinchilla vet in/around Houston, Dr. Antinoff has moved to Salt Lake City, UT. 
I would avoid GCVS as the other vets there are not great with chins and they are SO overpriced it isn't even funny. Thankfully we have not had emergencies and have been seeing Dr. Lonsford of Deer Park Animal Clinic for check ups. He will consult with the specialist that NOLA chin rescue uses if you have any unusual issues or emergencies. If you go to Deer Park Animal Clinic, make sure you only see Lonsford. None of the other vets have a clue about chinchillas.
