My hedgie Quinn used to love mealworms. After we moved he didn't have any for a while because the place we were staying did not want live worms in the house- even refrigerated, although I would sneak some in for him once in a while. Then we had a bad batch of them so he went for a while without. Anyway, I had gotten him some now and when I tried to feed him the worms he would catch them and look like he is chewing but then he spits them out, or they fall out, whole. After he spits them out he ignores them. We recently went to the vet found that he is missing 3 of his 4 front fangs. Could this have anything to do with the spitting of the worms? Is there anything I can do? He is eating his kibble fine. Now that he is getting older I worry about every little thing.
