What absolutely terrifies me is that I can feel Rocco's ribs when I pet him. They're not visible, nor are they very pronounced, but they're there all the same. Rocco isn't constantly running on his wheel, but he does a lot. When his leg was broken and we had to take the wheel, he was absolutely miserable, but he gained a lot of weight. He weighed over 700 grams when his leg was broken because of the lack of exercise, but after he got his wheel and playtime back, it dropped again. He was last weighed
In September, and he weighed between 480 and 520 grams. He eats almost all of his food and hay and his poops aren't small, but I wish he'd weigh more. I need to buy a scale. That much is clear. But do I need to take the wheel and/or playtime? Or is there something I can give him to help him gain weight? FYI: He gets playtime on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
