One Eye Squinting

I brought home a 8-week-old chinchilla three weeks ago and I've noticed that it tends to squint its left eye whenever it eats. There's no discharge from the eye or any sign of redness; the front teeth alignment also seem to be fine. I am not quite sure if this behaviour is normal.:hmm:
Has anyone observed this in their chin? I would greatly appreciate any advice. Thank you!

When some of my guys eat, they do the whole, eating while on their hind legs. They hold the pellet of food in one of their paws and will nibble away. Some do this with their eyes closed. I've noticed it more with my homo beiges, but its because of the lighting. If you are worried a quick vet check up wouldnt hurt.

Thanks for the reassurance! He's been doing it less lately. Perhaps it was just a come and go thing.
