Maisie

Yesterday, my little Maisie had to be put to sleep. She was 8 years old. A week ago she ended up with severe GI stasis and bloat along with an upper respiratory problem (which was later found to be a mass pressing against her airway and esophagus). She will always be remember for trying to jump out of the play pen, running up the side of the cage and bouncing around until she got a cookie, and for make little squeaks and talking to me when I would squeak to her. She is now with her sister, Kiwi, in chinchilla heaven.
