How long can hay stay?!

Ha I rhyme. But anyway..when my chins haven't finished their hay and it is not soiled from poo or pee, how long can I leave it in until it isn't fresh enough anymore... typically I do for a day and top it off with fresh stuff morning and night... THANKS!

PS .. it is very fresh Oxbow hay

I have my first string hay fresh every day, then every day I put the leftovers in another hay spot, I guess my chins have leftovers for lunch LOL

I give smaller quantities more often (3-4 times per day) because if I give HUGE amounts at once, they waste a lot of it.
