Hedgie exercise tips

my hedgie loves to run around out of the cage, we have created a neat play area made by using a kids plastic pool , lots of tubes, huts, toys to play with , she cannot climb out,(not that she tries to hard) and she seems very happy with her playroom! I know im not the first person to think of doing this , but I was wondering what others do for exercise outside the cage?

My little ones are snugglers rather than explorers, and neither has played much with their toys... so I don't have a lot of experience with outside the cage play environments. Though, one thing that Satin does enjoy is when I take out her dump truck (plastic kiddie toy) and hide mealies in it - some in the truck bed, some in the indentations where the hub caps are, some underneath the truck so she has to push it to get her treat. I get to see her behaving all fierce! It's cute as anything
