American Pet Diner pellets

Just curious if anyone uses APD Timmy guinea pig/chinchilla pellets? If so, does your chin like them? My little guy got bladder stones and can't have alfalfa based pellets, so I found these and ordered some.

I don't hear people mention them anymore.. but a few people used to use them.. just can't remember who!

They used to be up there with the recommended foods, I think people just forgot about them.

I do not know if chins like APD Timmy pellets, but once I got a free sample of APD Critter Be Better Supplement, it's also timothy based and my chins would not touch it! I think most chins prefer alfalfa based food.
How is your chinnie doing?

APD changed the formula last year and after years of my chins being on it they would not eat it any more, I switched to Oxbow. The new formula for the alffy pellet has some strange ingrediants in it.

I wonder why they would change the formula. There were always positive comments about APD.
