Hey guys I haven't been on here for awhile. My little hedgie is doing great! She's showed progress. But I have a food question. Can they eat purina complete cat food?

I've heard that Iams cat food isn't good for hedges? That's what came with mine and I don't know what else to buy. I don't want anything to expensuve though :/ And I just have her, her first bath! I think she liked it.

I usually try to get her out around 11 pm every night and usually for an hour. When she's out she's usually really good but she still huffs a little and spikes her quills but not as much as when she would be in her cage.

Are newspapers okay to use for bedding? I've heard that it is but I heard that it isn't

I've had my hedge for about 5 days and she's a year old. She's mean. Rverutine I go by her she huffs and hisses. Or out my hand in the cage, what can I do? And she sleeps all the time.

My bf and I just got a hedgehog. She's 1 year old and the old owner used cedar shaving for her bedding which I know is bad. We changed her cage tonight and used old newspaper ripped up and soon after she started itching. Why? Is she okay? Is she just just getting used to the bedding transition...
