Pocket often sleeps on top of the hanging house, but I've never seen her or Sumi use the inside, until now... So was able to get this shot of the two of them...

I wouldn't consider $200+ very much money at all, for a pet I plan on caring for, hopefully for 20ish years... If you find someone willing to pay a bit more, I'd like to think it would be more likely that they plan on caring for the chinchilla, at the very least...

I check craig's list every day, just so I can flag... while always keeping an eye out on a decent spare cage... I was just curious why her/his fur looked that way... is it only from not being dusted?...

Pocket's new cage mate!... Pocket's new pillow!!.. Actually, they take turns using one another as a pillow... She came home with me a few weeks ago, but I was calling her No-name up until this morning, when I decided on something (It took two months before I knew what Xochi's name is)...

My sister's husband refused to keep the temperature at a lower level, so I took her chinchilla home with me... My sister was extremely sad, and cried a lot, but in the end, she knew it was best for her chin... and if it was making her that sad, how much worse would it have been, if/when her...

I initially would go on craig's list waiting for a great deal on a spare cage... Never hurts to get a great deal on a good cage... Then I'd see so many posts like "baby chinchillas at a great price, since the pet stores charge $150 for just a regular gray one"... Or usually, it's a sob story...

Xochi is short for Xochiquetzal, so Xochi is her nickname... but I often refer to her as Xochi-lin... Pocket doesn't seem to need a nickname... Tabitha named her, and everyone seems to love her name, myself included... Oh, when she runs and jumps about, I call her Pocket rocket... A new...

Ha... No clarification required... I am not exactly opposed to the idea of an abundance of chinchillas!!...

I hope that won't always be the case... If I go to the same show for four or five years, I'd end up with too many chinchillas... But no, I definitely didn't leave the show empty handed: No Name is a violet...

Pocket's sister was in the show!! I showed her pictures of Pocket, and when I got home, showed Pocket these pictures:
