A little bit of bag balm goes a long way! Just a fore warning lol I put too much on the first time I did ears on one of my girls and she was super cranky... lol
a lot of people feed apple leaves. And since no one sells them in bulk I would like to make some. I have a mix from Whimsy coming that has crab apple leaves in it and I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them.
I have multiple chin safe types of trees that have never been sprayed. I would love to harvest the leaves before the weather causes me to lose them all. I have a large dehydrator but am unsure of how I should treat them prior to dehydrating them. Does anyone have any idea?
Personally I don't think any dog crate can be converted into a large enough cage for a chinchilla to live in. They need much more vertical space than a dog crate can offer. I would be looking into ferret cages if I were in your position.
You're welcome it is no problem. When I switched from exotics medicine to ER, I went back for dentals and one of the vets I worked with in Exotics couldn't believe I would switch mine off oxbow to Purina Pro Show until I talked to her. She knew I wouldn't do something without research and then...
I buy bulk bluegrass from KMS and bulk oat hay from http://www.sierravalleyhay.com/ I love sierra valley and their prices include shipping and are really good!
Including the three babies coming to me soon, I have 2 white mosaics, 1 TOV, 1 extra dark ebony, 1 violet, 1 hetero beige, 1 tan, 1 dark standard, and 2 standards.
I love pink whites though!!!
Probi is the name brand i use its a liquid probiotic. They get 0.1 cc orally daily for the ones on heart meds. The others get it once a week or so to keep them used to the syringe. My kids actually don't have to even be held to take their meds they grab the syringe and you just give it slowly...
I buy 40-50lb bales from a guy down the road. He bales it himself for his horses and sells the extra. Timothy, alfalfa, and orchard grass miss my kids love it. I store it in huge hampers on wheels.
