You can keep the rosehip in your hand while teaching the tricks. That makes it easier for you, as the chin will follow your hand. If your chin does the trick you want, just let it take a bite, and keep repeating the process (this is how I teach mine!).

Use those gray PVC tubes from plumbing

I understand how you attach them to the cage, but what about the inside tip of the screw? How do you keep it safe for chins not to get hurt on the pointy tip of the screw that remains inside the PVC tube? Can someone please take a picture to show how it stays inside?
