They had to have been put together at the SPCA. They were still in the individual carriers when they had been taken from the company that was raided.

While I don't mind in the least that mine were used, I would have liked to have been asked as well. More than anything though, I would have loved to have known about it considering my recue is featured.

I'm not surprised that your photos were used without permission. After all the "author" is the same person who had no problem stealing photos and giving bad advice in the Expert Village videos. :hmm: :nono:

Wonder why the forum was not mentioned? Without the help here those chins would not have found foster homes fast right?

When I click on that link I get this message:

They must be editing it, because it was there earlier. I read it. Perhaps someone pointed out the information that was lacking, borrowed, etc. and they are trying to rectify the situation.

Changed location "Atlanta" to "New Orleans" and took photos that were taken by me (and I think everyone else here) off.

As Ticklechin has said above, how disappointing that all the hard work & effort put in by members of this forum have not been mentioned in the article. :(
It's also a pity that the author could not be bothered to ask for permission to use the original photos - it doesn't take much effort, especially since they obviously use this forum ......

What is this "bad advice" you speak of. I think I know which ones you're talking about, but seem fine to me.

Interesting that this would be your first post. Where did you see the videos?

It's been a while since I've seen the videos, but one that absolutely stands out in my mind, and makes me scream with laughter, is that "no reputable breeder will breed ebonies because they all carry malocclusion and it is passed from one to the next." Really?? I'm sure Ryerson's, JAGs, Ritterspach, Woods, and countless others should be alerted to this fact. They've been doing it all wrong.

If you want to know the other stuff, go look them up on Expert Village. There were plenty of comments and plenty of warns. Expert Village just didn't feel like listening.

Really and here I am trying to specialize in breeding top quality ebonies. Have all the above in my lines and soon will be adding Shoots. Darn !!! Guess I am going to be known as a 'unreputable breeder' Darn!!! -
by the way how do you get the 'saracism (sp??)' button in your test??

I can read the article now but can't find any pics/slide show. Is there another link to those or did they decide not to use the pics?

I know the author and asked about this. That's not what was stated. What was stated was that you should not breed ebonies to ebonies, or certain mutations with one another. There are a lot of haters out there. And I certainly hope that no one would base their breeding on an internet video-- as stated in the beginning it should be left to those who dedicate themselves to bettering the animal. Looks to me like it was just some basic infomation and a good portion was taken the wrong way.

It's very strange that this would be the first thread you would post to here, so I'm assuming you were asked to join with the express purpose of defending your "friend" and her videos.

If you know the person who made the videos (and unless they were changed, that is not what the original video said), why don't you they answer for themselves? I know they are a member here. I know these videos have been brought up repeatedly in the past. They were reported for stealing people's images, for misinformation, for a whole host of things. They are still out there, and people believe whatever they see. They believe they are good information and they aren't.

Seriously, does it really matter?

I know for a fact that the person you are attacking did not make the videos. The images given to the person who did make the videos had express permission to do so. More were added later (I guess) without consent.
