    Face paralyzed during dental filing?

    Has anyone had experience or have heard anything of a chinchilla's face becoming paralyzed due to dental work? My chin had her back molars on one side of her face trimmed while she was under anesthesia and now half of her face is paralyzed and her lips are swollen. Any idea what caused this?

    How to Clean Chinchilla Fur?

    Anyone have ideas on how to clean Oxbow Critical Care out of their fur? It's getting pretty matted and yucky under her chin and around her neck. I heard Dawn soap and water, comb out, then blow dry. Would Dr. Bronners soap work? Or any other ideas?:hmm:
