My Annabelle does that very often but she always gets out and is fine and not overheated afterwards!

Basically just repeating what everyone else has said: My Annabelle poops in her bowl sometimes, and I just clean it out and give her new food when she does it, if there's a lot. And she also eats her poop, which is totally okay, apparently!

I'm not experienced or anything, but I would simply because you said he's being lethargic. That's never a good sign!

I cannot believe someone would feed their chin junk! That's even junk for humans and they go and feed that to someone who is way more sensitive than a human? Ugh, people!

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking. I have a vet that I know deals with chinchillas, they just aren't open right now. Haha. But I'm hoping I can get her in soon. And I'm also hoping I can find an emergency vet around here that will see her!
