Here is Chuck, he is an ebony mosaic and is almost 4 months old

I just got my male a week and a half ago and he is about the same age.. I notice his sticks out just a teeny bit, only noticeable if you look close. He has never been checked for a hair ring that I know of, is this something I should be worried about as well?

Chuck decided to wall surf all over the place and in his attempt to jump on top of his wood hidey house he miscalculated his jump and went head first into the side. I couldn't help but laugh! He was a little embarrassed and stayed in his hidey house where I couldn't see him for a while.

Here is my little guy Chuck. I had to wait a while to bring him home because he was still with mommy but I just picked him up last night! He is an ebony mosaic and I love his markings, especially his tail. These pictures aren't the greatest but I thought I would post on here to show everyone.

All standard pine at menard's is kiln dried. If it makes you feel better just ask the manager at the front of building materials and he/she will confirm it. I used to work at menards in high school and buy all wood for my chin shelving there. The boards are very reasonably priced.

I would recommend using a brita filter pitcher from walmart. It works great for me and is relatively inexpensive

Most soft wood should be fine to use if it hasn't been treated for at least 5 years. My recommendation would be to buy standard pine boards from menards. They are cheap and all pine sold there is kiln dried. Unless you don't have the tools to cut and install the wood this is probably your...

I use a large colored wood chew block that is made for birds from foster and smith online. It is very long and wide and lasts for forever. Great for a chin chew toy at a reasonable price!

I buy 25 lb bags for my one chinchilla and store it in a dog feed rubbermaid container with a flip top from walmart. It seals to keep the food fresh and doesn't let any of the smell seep out.

I use a brita filter pitcher that I bought at Walmart for about $20. It works great and the filters last 2 months. There is no need to cool it since I use it strictly for my chinchilla. It holds ten cups and I just keep it right next to the cage. It is very convenient and I highly recommend it

My local feed store carries Mazuri at a very reasonable price. It is of great quality and would recommend trying to find a feed store near you

I buy 40 oz bags of zupreem timothy hay off of petstore.com. They have very reasonable prices and good quality products
