My one chinchilla always tips her food bowl over and gets pellets all over her cage. I've tried several different types of bowls such as heavy ceramic ones, clip on cage ones, and nothing seems to work. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

I have resently found out that my chinchilla has a red-ish looking bump on her toe. I have no wire shelving or anything in her cage for her to step on. her finger(toe) is red while the tip is normal gray dot and this is the only finger so far that is like this. Sorry if i cannot explain this...
