My chinchilla girl recently gave birth to a kit, but seems to have gotten over enthusiastic when cleaning it off, as the kit now has a large area on its head of matted fur and I believe scabbing. The kit is running around and acting fine, but I'm worried about there maybe being moisture trapped...
