Thank you for responding! I just know that hair rings are dangerous and cut off blood supply and I was afraid that it being out was doing the same thing. Can you tell that this is our first issue and therefore what I considered an emergency? :) Thanks again!!
I was trying to give Newton a ring check and he was squirmy and now I think he got too excited and it won't go all the way back in. I don't have any KY to help it along...what else would work???
And please forgive me if this message seems a bit fresh...I'm totally serious...I'm beginning to...
Is anyone familiar with web graphics for chinchillas? I cannot seem to find any, although I know they are made since I've seen some cute ones in the forums. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks!!
Oh my GOSH! His little face looks awful! That absolutely breaks my heart!! I'm in Nevada...and new to chins, but I hope you or someone loving can take him!
I don't know if you have a JoAnn Fabrics in your area, but they put fleece on sale every other day it seems! I just picked up all new fleece for my Newton's cage at 40% off! Even better, you can join their mailing list and get coupons for 40 and 50 percent off single cut purchases. Good luck!!
Newton had a little piece of skin on his nose that I thought was fuzz. I took it off and then realized it was skin and it caused a little bleed. Now it is scabbed and I want to be sure I treat it if needed so that it doesn't cause an issue. Anything I should/can use to help it heal and cleanly?
I have my new FN all set up (still have to make it chin safe), but I have a question about its assembly. Because I don't plan to use the shelves that came with it, there are the three holes that are intended to hold the shelves exposed. What do all of you do to protect little toesies or noses...
