    Poor ChinBaby after fire alarm

Yesterday we actually had ANOTHER fire two floors down from us. 7 fire engines showed up. Usually I'm the one to pick them up out of the cage (which they never like), but only my husband was home yesterday. He was able to grab them (we have 3) and put them in the travel cages we have for...

    Poor ChinBaby after fire alarm

You should be lucky! We've had to evacuate our chins our around 4-5 times in the past year due to the fire alarm going off. And we live on the 8th floor! Once it was 90C out so we had to sit in the car with the AC on, another time it was raining and like 40C out. Good thing we did though...

    Moving?

Thanks for the info! We decided to throw the FN into the moving truck and found some safe all metal cages for temporary homes. They aren't thrilled about it, but they are safe. The cages are collapsable too- so if we need some chin-sitting in the future, this should really help. We also got...

    Vets around Boston?

Hi all, We're getting into the emergency preparations and are trying to find a good vet just in case. We're just north of Boston, and would love someone in the Boston/northshore area. Any ideas? I saw some posts about the Sager Animal hospital, but if there's any others let me know!

Hi all, I'm sure this info is out there somewhere if someone can point me in the right direction.... Petunia has started pulling up the fleece liners on our ferret nation cage. She used to just do it a little bit, but now at least half ends up all balled up in the middle of the cage and she...
