So recently, my dad is working on renovation downstairs. And, it just so happens that the renovation is REALLY LOUD. It can be hear quite loudly upstairs, where the chinchilla's room is. I don't know how to keep her calm. I put a fleece blanket on top of her cage, so she wouldn't be too worried...

So far, my family is starting to "reason" with me. When Tinsel comes out for playtime, they simply sit and watch. Mostly just my mom. They have done reserch and everything. We are all warming up to her. Thanks!

Thanks for replying! I hope she will be fine. Before she ate it, her poop was already a bit soft, so I took out her pellets and have been giving her plain hay. Other than that, She is doing ok :D

Hi everyone. Last night, my chinchilla Tinsel was sort of barking?? It was a repeated call of some sort, kind of like a whimper maybe? It woke me and my dad up, and after we checked on her, she was just sitting there, and she stopped. This is the first time it happened, and I got her 4 days ago.
