haha sorry I meant 4 ft. and do you think a chin would adjust after 2 years of being in a one level cage?

the multi level cage is smaller then it looks.. it is just really really tall.. its about 5 feet tll I am guessing.. it comes right above my stomach. the other one is really long, and about 3.5 ft tall..

this is the exact model of her old cage, but without the platform http://www.chechinchillas.com/giant_cage.jpg I took it out because she was chewing it to pieces and leaving sharp little plastic bits all over the cage..

it isn't very big on the bottom for just plain old running which I think is also stressing her out..

Thats what I was thinking, but when I called the vet, they said that chinchillas will adapt to a new cage and that a multi level cage is best for their health.. so I am not too sure what to do. I really don't think she is going to adapt and get better after living in a one lever cage for 2 years..
