There's no shavings in his cage, It's meshed flooring an he wee's through the mesh, I tend to do ring check most days when he's out for cuddles/playtime. He's got Vets Friday as I have no transport till then.

His cage is spotless, Bedding I use http://www.hammockyhammocks.co.uk/store_bedding.htm, He has a dust bath for 15 mins every other day. No food change..

Hello, what could cause fur loss around a chinchillas bum? It starts from his winky and goes right up to the bum also feels rough like dry skin or scaly can't quite figure out the sensation. Don't look sore and he don't seem to bothered by it. What cream could I use too IF it is dry skin? Danke :)

He was indeed, Yet with like my vets they don't check for anything unless you tell them so, I would say needle mark to put it's a pretty big scab more like my small finger nail size.

Just an update of Gizmo's x-ray, He does have malocclusion top roots are not bad but the bottom right part of his jaw is starting to push through, Start his diet change today... sigh.:cry3:
