Fleece for sure helps keep the noise down. My chin spends a lot of time sleeping at night because I make her be active during the day. After while you wont even hear when they make noise!

I am also a new chinchilla owner, and after a few days of just sitting next to her cage with my hand in there for her to exlpore me she warmed right up!

Do you just use regular pine bedding as litter?

I love this! My chins cage is whale fleece themed. I was thinking about getting her a cuddle buddy, if you decide to sell whales shaped cuddle buddy's pm me!
