For anyone in Chicago's NW burbs that is looking for powder coating for their FN pans, I found Paradigm Coatings in Huntley. They did a wonderful job and are reasonable!
I have a FN142 and I just bought the metal pans. I need to find a place that will powder coat them. Does anyone know of a powder coating business in or near Chicago. I actually live in the NW suburbs but am willing to go into Chicago if need be! Thanks in advance.

My chin is named Penelope. He's a boy though. Apparently the people that had him before he came to the rescue thought he was a girl, hence the name. I'm just keeping the name...I'm sure he won't mind!
I am soon to be a new chin owner, and I'm wondering what anyone's experience is with how messy chins are? I'm sure they'll kick some bedding out, even with the deeper pans, and I'm sure there will be dust, but should I protect the walls next to the chin cage? I'm just wondering how messy they...
I am in the process of setting up my chin's cage (FN142). He comes in a few weeks. I've seen several posts where owners take out the FN shelves and then use the pine shelving instead. If anyone is familiar with this cage, how many shelves should I place on each level for my chin to jump around...
Hi there! I am from Illinois too and will soon be a new chin owner as well. I'm just in the process of setting up the new cage. My chins name is Penelope.
