The veterinary was able to rinse out the eye which opened it back up. I think maybe something was stuck in her eye now I am giving her eye drops and some anti-biotics and it looks like it is clearing up like normal.

Hello I got these many years ago I have a solitary chinchilla and I thought she might use them for snuggles when I am working. Turns out she just flat out ignores them. Would anyone like them, if you could just reimburse me for shipping I could send them to you.

The biggest thing I am concerned with about pet stores and please keep this in mind anywhere is just because it has a picture of a chinchilla on it does not mean it is chinchilla safe. For example they market those dandelion yogurt drops as treats that are full of soy bean oil and corn syrup.

I have wrestled with this for a long long time. My Girl is 16 and I just could never get past the possibility of her getting stressed, bullied, or hurt by another chinchilla. I just try to shower her with attention and activities and make sure she has a great space to be in.

Haha I wouldn't say mine experiences anxiety but she is definitely alert. Although I have moved so often I think she is used to it.
