She is still doing this even with her fleece back in. She does make like little squeaks when she is sat on me or like a noise as if she is grinding her teeth.
she won't let me pick her up if I try she barks and runs off. She is eating and drinking normally. I'm at a loss as to if anything is wrong x
I was hoping this was the case. She is eating and drinking fine, she seems more hungry
but I put that down to her just getting older.
I have recently taken her fleecey hammock out for washing and I'm also
wondering if she is missing this?
Tails my Chinchilla is about 2 1/2 she's never really been a fan of being picked up
or for being stroked often, but recently she will come and sit on me and really snuggle into
the crook of my arm. I'm wondering if she is sad or maybe a bit poorly? she does yelp slightly iif I try and pick her...
I think new wood but doubled up is going to be the only option
as there is nothing that will stop her chewing..i've tried toys and rocks infront of
where she chews but she pulls them away even a heavy rock.
All i can think of is more chew toys to stop her eating the cage lol
it's made of untreated pine-softwood..i think.
think the metal brackets might not work as.not sure we have the tools to remove all the sharp edges on the metal.
I am thinking of reinforcing the new wood with another piece of wood.
she has loads of chew toys too lol.
I was thinking plastic...
ok so Tails is up to her mischevious tricks as usual.
She has started to chew the wood on her cage surround.
Regardless of her having lots of chew toys.
I am considering putting some metal around the edges closest
to the join so she does not get to the nails, would this be safe?
or does anybody...
Her first water bottle she chewed the spout...no doubt doing a balancing act to do this.
Her 2nd one (one just chewed) she has chewed the top of the bottle...how i have no idea but it makea
it impossible to refill.
I am now on the lookout for a glass bottle as Tails is on a chewing mision it...
I didn't get a glass bottle as i wasn't sure they were safe for chins
Only in the past few months has she decided chewing her bottle is a good idea!lol
she has an array of chew toys but insists on chewing her water bottle lol
Are Glass water bottles suitable for chins?
Tails has taken to chewing the top of her water bottle i'm on my 3rd in as many months.
how she manages this i don't know...she must perch on the top of it i think.
i've moved it up one hole on her cage but if i put it up another so she can`t get on...
she doesn't even let you get close to holding her...she is just to fast.
is there any way i can train her to let me hold her?!
after a lot of moving about she can come out in the spar room.
the only issue now is tht she isnt in a room.with ppl all the time due to my mums dog.
I have recently had to move back to my mums house for personal reasons.
My chin used to come out of her cage and into the lounge for a run. However my chin is now housed in a spare bedroom due to my mum having a dog...the room she is in has lots of places she could hide so don't want her out in...
I have recently moved back to my parents for personal reasons.
My chin tails used to be able to come out and run around our livung room.
However due to my mum having a dog she is being housed in the spare room which is a storage room really. She has a run surrounding her cage.will this be...
Ok so now we have a little problem.she is still sneezing and is making a noise similar to a cough.
I have spoken to the breeder i got her from and he has said to monitor her
As i didn't hear the cough.
I am fine with taking her to the vet although we don't have a carrier.
She doesn't like being...
