After doing more research I have found out it is compatible with the CN cage, but not the old FN cages.

Our new FN didn't require any tools and just slid together. Since the FN add on is cheaper than the CN, I was thinking about trying it.

Haha yeah. Add in the fact that I just had a hysterectomy and my husband is staying home to care for me for weeks, it is a full house!

Does anyone know if the Ferret Nation 183 add on unit will work with the double Critter Nation cage? Has anyone tried it? I think they go together the same way.
