I'm about to send my chinchilla's blood for testing, but the lab doesn't have reference values for this kind of rodent. Does anyone have this kind of information? help would be appreciated :)

Did the vet check his teeth? Don't give up on him, try to force feed him with critical care.

Thank you for the comment, I recomended to the owner trimming, but they chose to observe, some people are hard to believe animal has a condition because it's still eating normally and everything else is fine :hmm:

My male chin had a prolapse after castration, vaseline helped. In your case you should first investigate what is the cause of the prolapse (fur ring etc.) feel free to lube it and get it back in, othewise it can get hurt.

I think it's better to take her to the vet and find out what caused squishy poop, rather than wait and only treat it simptomatic. It could be Giardia causing squishy poop, in that case, you wanna cure it on time. My chinchilla had squishy poop, while we waited lab results i gave her probiotics...
