Violet Chin Not Eating Much

We recently got a new violet female, and we have put her in quarantine for 30 days. She always knocks down the ceramic food bowl so there is no way to find out how much she is eating. But if I try to give her a pellet she takes it in her mouth then drops it. She does accept treats though. I am a very worried because I have recently lost one of my babies, is this odd behavior or should I just keep an eye on it.

Are you keeping a log of her weight? I would start with that and see if there is cause for concern or not.

Are you feeding the same food as the person you got her from? Can you place the bowl somewhere so she can't knock it over. I also would say keep a record of her weight.

Since I had only had her for a week I have not kept a log of her weight yet. I monitoring her today and she was eating as usual.
