Okay toymakers, quick question for you guys. What kind of dyes do you use to color your wooden toys? We would like to become a little more self sufficient with Athena's toys and would like to have more toys available to her that we can trust 100%. I'm fully aware of all the safe and toxic woods, I'm just looking for the best and safest colorings because she's so much more attracted to the colors than normal wood!

Thanks in advance!

Bird dyes tend to do the trick and can give you really bright colours

Edit: and by bird dyes I mean dyes used to make bird toys, not dyes to dye birds lol

Food colouring works and so does kool-aid powder, but to get a really bright colour bird dyes work best (in my experience)
