TOV White Mosaic

[Kansas City Chinchillas]

A TOV white mosaic male was born here on April 3rd. He was 68 grams at birth and gained 10 grams in 2 days. His mom's milk must have come in quickly. She is a miller standard (Glee) and the sire is a tov white mosaic (Deacon). Their last kit a black male took reserve grand show last January. Hopefully this little guy will grow out nicely. He looks just like his sire when he was born.

Here are pictures of the sire (Deacon) when he was young:

Deacon's veiling is much darker than the picture shows. The lighting made it look lighter. His veiling darkened as he grew older.

Thank you for all the kinds words. Deacon (P16) is now 7.5 years old. His kit continues to gain 5 grams a day.

Deacon is so pretty. He reminds me of my Peeps, who has dark spots and from angles looks like he has no white on him.
