Ticks??

I've searched & it seems like for every person that says that ticks aren't a problem for chins there is another that says they are. I personally had never seen a tick until a few months ago on one of my dogs. I am about to treat all 3 of my dogs with K-9 advantix II and was wondering if I treat the dogs, could ticks migrate to the chins??

Chins can get ticks and fleas, on the areas that have thin fur like the chest, belly, arm pits, ears, face etc.
