My vet is Angie Keffer (the vet that contributes the answers to the questions on this web site in the vet questions portion). She is a chinchilla breeder herself and in Vet school at the University of Pennsylvania, she did her research on chinchillas. She is AMAZING and I don't think I could have found a better vet. Even though she is an hour and 15 min away the trip is well worth it! Her info is below:

A 2002 graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Keffer has over 15 years of animal care experience both as a technician and veterinarian. Enjoying all fields of veterinary care, she has a special interest in rodents and rabbits as well as the field of flexible endoscopy.
In her spare time, Dr. Angie has established herself as a greatly respected breeder of chinchillas and enjoys time off with her dogs Cecilia, Bart, Phoebe, Reilly and Katrina.
