I know chins are nocturnal, but how long do they sleep? I work from 7am-3pm and so far my chin has been awake when I left and awake when I have returned home. She does look tired (in the eyes) when I return home. I'm wondering do chins have a straight sleep or do they just power nap?

Chins aren't actually nocturnal, they are crepuscular, meaning that they are most active at dawn and dusk. My boys are usually up and down throughout the day. They become most active around 8 at night, then again from about 3-6am. They get up to eat, drink, and pee a couple times during the day. Chins can also sleep with their eyes open, so when she looks awake but sleepy, she might really be asleep.
