shakes like a wet dog!

A few times a day my 5 mo old male will stand on his hind legs, stretch his neck and shake furiously like a wet dog. I've never seen other chins do this, just wandered if it was common? :hmm:

5 out of my 7 chins do it. The first time I saw one do it I was taken back. It's definitely something I would like to catch on video one day.

All of my boys do this too. I think it's cute and sometimes Oscar does it if I snuggle him against his will to get the human cooties off.

^^ This is when I see my guys do it. If I have petted them at a time or in a way that they deem unfit, they give a good shake or else wipe the cooties off with a paw

Mine does it after a dust bath!

Sigma does this fresh out of a dust bath. He gets dust EVERYWHERE, but it's adorable.

I tried to lay down a towel or a fleece blanket to catch whatever shakes off of him- but he normally does a pretty good job avoiding those.
