I had to take my Richie with me this weekend on a scrapbook getaway.
I was going to put him in a cat carrier but for the whole wknd it was just too small, so my mom gave me her small bird cage. i had my fiance' make a few ledges real quick & put his fleece tube in it. i kept one area coverd in paper towels so he could pee and i would change it several times a day. and put his fleece bed in there & covered the bottom in fleece.
He did great! i let him out 3 times a day for meds & handfeeding. the bathroom was bigger than mine so he was loving it.
it made me feel so good that he could handle it and that perhaps i could go away one night every once in a while and as long as their is air conditioning he would be fine. just wanted to share.
