Here in the next month I will be moving over 4,000 miles with my 4 chins. I think they will handle the trip well but we are taking steps now to get them used to the cages they will travel in and to be sure that everything in our new home will be ready for them. I think as long as you talk to your new landlord they will most likely be okay with them since they are "caged pets". I would do anything to keep my chins, I can't imagine re-homing them and not being sure if they would be guaranteed a forever home or if they will be well cared for. Good luck with whatever you decide but I think if you put forth a little effort you will see that bringing them with you will be pretty easy! :thumbsup:
